Mini-Mag Issue 2: Winter 2026
Roles: Editor, Creative Director, Layout Designer, Stylist, Photographer
Armour’s second mini-magazine kicks off the new year with a new issue profiling our cover star, Phoenix Lee, a member of the Class of 2026 who has recently focused on finding a sense of internal clarity amidst the chaos of modern life, a rhythm that so often defines the pace of youth. Also featured are never-before-seen editorials, current topics in fashion, what to watch this month, and much more.
As Editor-in-Chief, I wanted to expand Armour beyond traditional editorials and begin exploring the art and culture that shape our community. That vision led to the creation of the mini-mags: small, focused issues that highlight students’ personal perspectives on culture, music, film, fashion, art, and more. As the editor of the Winter issue, I had the honor of thoughtfully curating this edition’s team and creative direction.
For the cover shoot, I aimed to capture Phoenix’s personal style in a way that felt authentic and reflective of his inner world. We pulled pieces from his closet that felt true to them and shot with intention, allowing space for stillness and self-expression. The images reflect not just Phoenix’s style, but the calm confidence that comes from embracing clarity in a fast-moving world resulting in an editorial that feels both intentional and deeply personal.
